Desert Grasses 41 pp.

This booklet describes 30 grasses native to, or naturalized in the Southwest. Not only do they offer many possibilities in landscape use, but they can be important in restoring plant communities and animal habitat, as well as contributing to wildlife corridors in urbanized areas. The selection guide includes information on flowering season, light and water needs, difficulty of maintenance, best soil type, and "invasiveness" (or tendency to spread — sometimes desirable, sometimes not).
