Programs are held at the Desert Botanical Garden, 1201 North Galvin Parkway, on the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm. Meetings will be in either Webster Hall, or Dorrance Hall. Please look for signs when entering garden, or ask at the main gate. Each month an educational program is presented, chapter and state AZNPS buisness is discussed, and members socialize with the guest speaker. For more information email.

Winter Program

Evening Program Talk: Tuesday, Dec 11, 2007 Flora of the Mazatzal Mountains presented by Theresa Price. Theresa, a grad student with ASU, will present a program on the area that she is studying which is the Flora of the Mazatzal Mountains located northeast of Phoenix on the way to Payson, Arizona.

Evening Program Talk: Tuesday, Jan 8, 2008 Flora of Organ Pipe presented by Sue Rutman. Sue, the Botanist with Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, will present a program on the flora of that national monument.

We will have no program in February as the Arizona Botanists meeting is held at the same time.

2008 ARIZONA BOTANISTS MEETING
Mark your calendars! The Arizona Botanists Meeting is February 9, 2008 at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, with field trips on the 10th. We are finalizing the program so check the DBG website for information regarding program, field trips, and registration. There will be a silent auction featuring some valuable and rare botany books, so bring your cash and checkbooks! The winter AZNPS board meeting, open to all members, will be Friday, February 8 from 9:00-12:00.
